January 2016 Glam Planning

Since today is February 1st and the first month of 2016 is officially over, I thought I would share my planner on my blog today, and maybe make it a monthly post? In 2015 my planner obsession went from 0 to 60 in 3.2 seconds and I haven't looked back since. I am full on addicted to Glam Planning and Stickers! Back in December I shared a "Planner Update" (HERE) and it has received quite a few views - I think there are alot of planner addicts like myself out there! I plan in the Erin Condren Life Planner (Vertical) and I absolutely love it. In January, I took a picture of my weekly spreads before the pen and/or after the craziness so I thought I would share them with you and let you know where my stickers are from + maybe give some of you some Plan-spiration? aha.

A Beautiful Mess Happy Mail | January 2016

Yaay! It's that time of the month again - my Happy Mail subscription landed in my mailbox on Friday and I absolutely LOVE it! Happy Mail is a monthly stationery subscription service that was launched a year ago by sisters Elsie and Emma, the masterminds behind the blog and brand A Beautiful Mess. Each month Happy Mail subscribers receive $50+ dollars worth of stationary for only $15 a month! If you have commitment issues and want to subscribe for 6 months, or on a monthly basis you can do that too, but the price is adjusted accordingly. If you are located in the United States shipping is included in the cost, but they will ship Happy Mail worldwide for just an additional $2.00!

These posts seem to be pretty popular so if your interested, you can check out all of my other Happy Mail reviews HERE! January's Happy Mail package contained 8 cards, 1 post card, 8 standard envelopes, 1 art print, 1 notepad, and 1 sheet of stickers!

Skinny Peanut Butter Banana Muffins

Collin and I are trying to live a healthier lifestyle in 2016, and that includes less baked goods, or at least a healthier version of our favourite treats! I bake muffins every week, as they are an easy snack to eat on the go, or take to work. Unfortunately Oatmeal Chocolate Chip muffins aren't the healthiest ones out there, so I went to Google in hopes to find a healthier recipe. During my search I came across Sally's Baking Addiction's Skinny Peanut Butter Banana Muffins! I am allergic to peanut butter (I just can't eat it), but that doesn't stop me from baking with it, as Collin loves peanut butter!

Calvin Klein Coat | Sunday Style

Happy Sunday! Today was yet another cold and blustery day in southern Ontario, but that didn't stop me from heading outside in my favourite new coat for some Sunday Style pictures for you all! This coat was at the top of my Christmas list this past year because I saw it in The Bay & just couldn't stop thinking about it. I just love the leather trim, the asymmetrical zipper and the funnelled collar! I will try to find a link to share it down below, but my mom had the hardest time tracking it down for me. Since the collar comes up so high, I find it kinda awkward to have my hair my hair down as it gets tucked in or flips out - so today I opted for a low sock bun with a loose braid. I've never worn my hair like this before, but I kinda like it!

PS - Please ignore my super dark roots, the camera makes them look alot worse, but I do have a hair appointment booked!
