Haul | Sephora, M.A.C & Lush

I always seem to run out of all my makeup products at the exact same time! I was in desperate need of a a few of my essentials last weekend so I headed to my local Sephora and did a little bit of damage at MAC and Lush along the way.

The main goal of the shopping trip was finding a new foundation. I had heard alot of great things about Too Faced Born This Way Foundation, so I thought I would pick it up and give it a try. I have been wearing it for the past week and have some mixed thoughts on it.. a review will be up on my blog soon for the final verdict! I also had a voucher for a free full size mascara from a Sephora Favorites kit I bought a while back, so I redeemed that for Too Faced's Better Than Sex Mascara, as it has become a new favourite of mine! The last thing I picked up at Sephora was Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Eden. I normally use the original formula, but my Sephora was sold out. The girl convinced me to get Eden as it is a creamy nude matte, which helps to cancel out redness, veins and make eye shadows pop. I do have to say that I have been loving it, and actually prefer it to the original!

I also needed a new concealer, but didn't want it to break the bank so I headed over to a MAC store, and picked up their Pro Longwear Concealer in the shade NC20. I'm normally not a MAC person when it comes to concealer and foundation, but I have no idea why I haven't tried this product until now, because it is absolutely amazing and I totally get why everyone raves about it.

Lastly, I went to Lush for my FIRST TIME EVER! I had never ever been in a Lush store before, and I basically lost my mind when I saw a girl walking around with a Lush bag and found out they had recently put a store in my local mall. I totally practised self control (with the help of my boyfriend) and only picked up 3 bath bombs - Dragon's Egg, Twilight, and Butterball.

I hadn't been shopping for beauty products in a while, and it was so much fun! What new products have you been loving?

    1. I've used Lush before, but I had never been into a store - I always had to order online. But the convenience of having one at my local mall is bad news - those bath bombs are already gone & it's been less than 3 weeks! I didn't have a bath tub at my last apartment that I lived at for 3 years - it was so hard! :(
