2015 - 2016 Erin Condren LifePlanner

Since the beginning of 2015 I have been totally lusting over Erin Condren's Life Planner (ECLP). I was first introduced to Erin Condren when Elle Fowler mentioned her planner in her February monthly favourites. Ever since then I been watching more planner videos than beauty videos *gasp* - who knew that a planner community even existed?! I have always been into planners, crafts, and stationary but Erin Condren's brand totally sucked me in - hook, line and sinker. I decided that I would wait to purchase the life planner until the 2015-2016 planners were released, so on June 9 (the release date) I bit the bullet and spent a whopping $100 on a planner, pens, and stickers.. An ECLP is definitely an investment, as the planners costs $50+ but I have always been a big planner lover, and knew it was worth it. For the past year I have been using a Kate Spade planner, but I am so happy with my decision to switch over to Erin Condren!

Anyways, I picked up a personalized classic, 18 month, vertical LifePlanner (July 2015 - December 2016), the LifePlanner Launch Bundle, Daily Dots and Do it All Dots. The cover I chose was the turquoise geodes design (HERE) with my initials in the lower corner. I wasn't crazy about having my full name splashed across the front of my planner, but I love having my initials on it - a subtle, yet personal touch! (Note: the covers are interchangeable, so you can easily switch it up throughout the year!) The LifePlanner Launch Bundle (HERE) included  Erin Condren's new designer sticker book, the new Party Pops Markers, and a clear designer clutch. I thought the stickers, pens and clutch would be a good place to start with my planner and I am super happy that I purchased these! I also picked up the Daily Dots (HERE) and Do It All Dots (HERE), so I had simple stickers to start planning with.

When I first opened the box, I initially thought that the planner would be a little bit bigger than it actually is - it is 7.25" x 9.25" but for some reason it seemed bigger in all of the YouTube videos that I was watching! The size doesn't bother me at all and I do think that it is the perfect size, but I took a picture of it next to my hand for comparison (Watch is Michael Kors, and bracelet is from Tiffany & Co. - if you were curious!). Both the tabs and the cover are laminated, which gives the planner a sturdy and professional feel.

The inside of the LifePlanner is just as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside! (... Did I really just say that about a PLANNER?). Anyways.. For the sake of making this blog post a little bit shorter I thought I would briefly show you the inside. The planner starts with a beautiful vellum page, followed by some inspirational quotes, and the 18 months at a glance, 2 page spread. The following page is a new addition to this years LifePlanner and be can be used for anything! It has 12 blank boxes for you to fill in - dreams, goals, thankful thoughts - anything goes! After that the planner has a lined page for taking notes, and it jumps right into to the monthly view and weekly spreads. I chose the vertical layout as I love looking at my planner as a giant "To Do" list, and the top down approach is really unique! After the 18 months, there is a large notes section filled with both lined and blank pages. Then we come to 4 sheets of stickers - 2 with labels, 2 blank!

After the sticker sheets, there is laminated a "Keep it Together" folder which is great for stuffing coupons, invitations, or other bits and bobs that seem to end up in planners! It also includes a "Perpetual Calender" which is great for marking down birthdays, anniversary's and other important dates that you need to remember on a yearly basis. Lastly there is a clear pouch that came with a few freebies - 3 referral cards, 3 compliment cards, a sample sheet of the Do It All Dots, and a coil clip. The planner also comes with some other freebies - some gift labels, a postcard, a large sticker, and a coupon code for my next purchase!

I love everything about my Erin Condren order - even the packaging was beautiful! EC definitely knows what she's doing!

I know that there have been some issues with orders missing pieces or being defective, but everything in my order was perfect! The only thing that wasn't so hot was the shipping price to Canada - $19.95! Luckily, I spent over $100 and was able to use the coupon code FREESHIP to take $9.95 off the cost of shipping, but in the future the shipping cost may make me think twice before placing a small order. If you would like to get $10 off your first order, you can click my referral link HERE and sign up - a $10 off code will be sent to your e-mail!

I am so in love with this planner - I can't wait to order some more stickers off of Etsy, and for July 1st to come so I can start planning! Would any of you be interested in seeing planner posts thrown into the mix? Or should I stick to beauty? Let me know in the comments down below!
