Bronzer & Baked Luminizer | Sephora Collection

Highlighting. Bronzing. Contouring, the beauty community is just buzzing with these words, and it's definitely a current trend. I have 100% jumped onto the contouring bandwagon and have been using some fabulous contouring products that I will be reviewing in a few weeks! I recently tried the Sephora Collection Bronzer, and the Sephora Collection Baked Luminizers. I am not too familiar with the Sephora Collection, as I always get carried away by the other brands in Sephora, and never take the time to look at their products. I have been using the Sephora Bronzer in Aruba (tan with gold shimmer) and both of the MicroSmooth Baked Luminzers (Stardust and Lightbeam) for the past few weeks.

The Sephora Collection Bronzer in Aruba is formulated with high-payoff micronized pigments, smoothing peptides and argan oil. This offers a blendable product that provides a silky-smooth, non-cakey texture, that leaves you with a natural looking effect, that won't streak. There are 4 shades in the range - 2 mattes, and 2 shimmers. These products were given to me by a friend, and I received the shade Aruba, which is a golden tan with gold shimmer. It is way too glittery for my taste,  as I typically wear matte bronzers. However, the formula was very smooth, highly pigmented and was easy to blend! The Sephora Collection Bronzers are available in store, or online for $21.00 (HERE).

The Sephora Collection offers two MicroSmooth Baked Luminizers - Stardust and Lightbeam. Stardust is a creamy gold, while Lightbeam is a light pink. Both are VERY glittery, but are highly pigmented and easy to blend. The formula is infused with radiance-boosting minerals, sea coral, and green tea extract, which helps to leave you with a natural glow. Like the bronzer, I found these too glittery for my taste. I prefer my highlighters to have a natural glow or sheen (The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer, I'm looking at you!), rather than chunky glitter. However, if you like a little extra sparkle, I recommend that you check these out! The Sephora Collection MicroSmooth Baked Luminizers are available in store, or online for $17.00 (HERE).

Overall, these products were all a little too glittery for my liking. I wish the photographs picked up the glitter a little bit better, but just trust me when I say they are glittery. If you like alot of sparkle, or are looking for a semi-affordable bronzer or highlighter, I recommend you check these out in store, to see if they are right for you - I promise you, the formulas are great, I just can't handle the sparkle! I will have to check out some of the other Bronzer shades the next time I go to Sephora! Have you tried any products from the Sephora Collection?
