Lancôme Grandiôse Mascara | VoxBox

A few weeks ago I received the Lancôme Grandiôse Mascara* VoxBox from Influenster. Influenster is an online community of consumers who like to give reviews and opinions of products and experiences. Once you sign up and create a profile (it's totally 100% free), you are then able to participate and interact within the community and get sent complimentary products - like this Lancômbe Grandiôse Mascara! Last week, I filmed a First Impressions video on this mascara and I was really impressed (You can check out that video on my YouTube channel, MurdockTalks, or at the end of this post)! This mascara features Lancômes new and revolutionary "Swan Neck" wand, that helps to provide length, lift, and volume to all lashes. The wand is curved to work with the shape of your face, which provides easier application. Lacômbe claims that the curve of the wand helps to mix the mascara when you twist it open, which allows for the formula to stay fresh longer - I'm not sure if that statement is true, but it will be interesting to see how long this mascara lasts.

They also claim that the "elastomer-molded brush" helps to spread the formula on each lash, while the smaller bristles effortlessly coat short lashes from root to tip for ultimate volume. I do agree that the brush really grabs each lash and evenly coats it. This mascara definitely provides some serious length and volume! However, I do not agree with Lancôme when they say that "the ultra-black, smudge-free formula features Lancôme’s rose cell extract, which nourishes and smooths lashes while providing infinite buildability," - I found it very hard to build up this mascara with two coats. After one coat, my lashes began to clump together and look spidery! I have also had some minimal smudging on my brow bone, but I think the current heat wave that is passing through Southern Ontario is to blame!

In the pictures below, I have one coat of Lancôme's Grandiôse Mascara on. I think that this is a great everyday mascara, as it is not too dramatic, but provides both length and volume. Can we also please note that this is the first mascara review I have posted where my eyebrows are not a mess? aha.

If you are looking for a new high end mascara to wear on the daily, I would recommend this one. Lancôme definitely knows what their doing when it comes to potion for your lashes! This mascara retails at Sephora for $35.00 (HERE). Have you tried Lancôme's Grandiose Mascara? I would love to hear your thoughts!

*I received this product complimentary for testing purposes from Influenseter.
