May 2014 Favourites

I can hardly believe that May is over.. I have already been home from university for an entire month - how is that even possible?! That means 25% of my summer is already over, aha. Time really does fly. Anyways, I didn't have too many favourites this past month, as I didn't get a lot of new stuff until the middle of May, so I thought I would save them for a June favourites post!

Taylor, by Taylor Swift Perfume (HERE) - I received this perfume as a Christmas gift this past year, but I hadn't worn it much until recently. I find that it's more of a summer scent, and I have really been enjoying it. I wrote a post on this last summer prior to it's release so you can read that HERE for a little more information. It contains top notes of lychee, sparkling tangerine and magnolia petals, middle notes of peonies, hydrangeas and vanilla orchids and a base of sandalwood, apricot nectar, cashmere musk and a blend of woods. I have gotten quite a few compliments on it the past few weeks, and that's always an indicator of a perfume win in my books, because who doesn't love to be told that they smell good? hehe.

Estee Lauder Day Wear Moisturiser (HERE) - This moisturiser is my holy grail and is one of my all time favourite skin care products. I absolutely love it. It feels amazing on my skin, has an SPF, and my skin loves it. I have been using samples of it for the past 3 months, but finally got around to picking up the full sized version on my trip to Ohio! I am going to have a full review up on it soon, so stay tuned!

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette (HERE) - Since I have started working full time, I am always in a rush to get ready in the morning. I have been using this palette every morning as it is super convenient, and contains the perfect shades for a professional work environment. The palette contains 5 matte shades, and 1 shimmer shade (Venus - off white) which is perfect for a highlight. I use W.O.S (pinky nude) all over my lid, Naked2 (light taupe) as a transition colour, and Faint (dusty brown) in the crease. It is also the perfect palette to take away on a trip as you can create a simple neutral or smokey eye look that is perfect for the day and night! I also love that Naked2 is the perfect colour for me to fill in my brows with!

NYX Butter Gloss in Eclair (HERE) - Again, I am going to write a rave review on this soon, but I seriously just can't get enough. I picked two of these glosses up a few weeks ago and I have been reaching for them ever since. Eclair is a beautiful light pink that goes great with my neutral eye look for work. The formula is perfect - not too sticky, drying, and fairly long-wearing! Someone pleaseee tell me where I can purchase more in Canada!

It's a 10 Miracle Leave In Product (HERE) - I really don't have to say much about this product. It is a cult favourite, and it works wonders for your hair! If you have never tried this before, you are totally missing out. If you have dry, damaged or super knotty hair then stop reading blogs and run to the store - you need this in your life.

What was your favourite beauty product this past month?
