The Old Spaghetti Factory

Last week, I took the bus home for a night to hangout with my family and go downtown Toronto! While we were there we had dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory, and went to Ripley's Aquarium (Blog Post & Pictures to come in the near future!).

The Old Spaghetti Factory is located just a 10minute walk from Union Station at 54 The Esplanade, and I highly recommend it!

Like the name suggests, it is an Italian food place, and the menu has something for everyone! The atmosphere is like something I have never seen before. There was a Toronto Maple Leaf's game going on the night we went, so the restaurant was quite full, and I didn't want to be a creeper taking pictures around the restaurant, aha! There were chandeliers, and  every other type of light fixture imaginable, an old Toronto street car, a telephone booth, and even a carousel to eat your meal in!

Like East Side Marios, there is all you can eat bread, that is delivered to each table. Also, each meal comes with the option of a soup, or salad - so I opted for a classic cesar salad.

For our entrees, my sister chose Fettuccine Alfredo, and I had the Spaghetti and Meatballs. The Meatballs were HUGE, and quite spicy - Our waiter told me that they weren't spicy at all, but I have the spice tolerance of a 4 year old, so I couldn't handle them, aha.

For dessert, my brother, sister and I split a piece of this decadent chocolate truffle cake - it was to die for!

The food was incredible, and the atmosphere was truly amazing. If you live near Toronto, and have never been, you are missing out! I also highly recommend this restaurant for anyone else who comes to the city!

P.S - I vlogged my evening, so feel free to have a look at my YouTube channel!

  1. Talk about hitting the jackpot! If you adore spaghetti as much as you then you were probably in spaghetti heaven while you were at this location. I wish we had a restaurant like this one here in Cleveland because I would be there all the time...ok so maybe it's good that there isn't one too close to me haha. Your evening looks amazing & the food looks mouthwatering.
