Homemade Mozzarella Sticks!

This isn't my usual kind of post, but I am up to my eyeballs in essays and research papers, so I thought that a quick recipe post, would be better than nothing, right?

I love to bake and cook.. If someone put me to work in a kitchen for an afternoon, I would be a happy girl. I came across this Baked Mozzarella Stick recipe on Pinterest, and it just sounded too easy not to try out!

I am also a huge fan of Mozzarella Sticks, they are a perfect afternoon snack, or an appetizer! & since store bought Mozzarella Sticks aren't the healthiest option out there, this 4 ingredient recipe, is healthier, quick, easy and delicious!

1 cup - Panko Crumbs
1 cup - Italian Bread Crumbs
2 Eggs (I only used 1 egg because I was only making a few Mozza Sticks)
1 Block of Mozzarella Cheese

Step 1: Place the Panko Crumbs & Italian Bread Crumbs in a frying pan, on medium heat. Mix them together, and slightly brown them. Pre-Heat the oven to 350 Degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2: Cut up your block of Mozzarella Cheese into strips, they should be close to 3/4 of an inch thick.

Step 3: Crack and whisk the eggs in a separate bowl.

Step 4:  Take your cheese sticks and dip them in the eggs. Then place them in the bread crumb mixture and cover them completely.

Step 5: Place the breaded Mozza Sticks on a baking sheet.

Step 6: Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes and Enjoy!

Let me know if you try out this recipe!

  2. Hi! I am your newest follower on here and bloglovin. This looks amazing. I would much rather make mine own than by the frozen store kind (I'm kind of against buying yucky frozen foods).
