Beef Stew Recipe

So here I am with yet another recipe post! I think this might become a weekly thing? Yes? No? Maybe? What do you think?

Anyways, Beef Stew is one of my all time favourite winter meals, and it is so easy to make! I just throw all of the ingredients into my crockpot and walk away. I go to class for the day, run errands, come home and my dinner is ready within minutes. I don't think that it can get any better than that. It doesn't look like the most appetizing dish in the world (hence the beautiful black & white picture, aha), but let me tell you, it is absolutely delicious.

Ingredients:
1 pkg. stewing beef cut into small cubes (cut the cubes into small pieces with scissors if they are too big from the store)
¼ cup flour
Salt and pepper – small amount of each.
1.5 cups beef broth
1 clove garlic (or use 1 tsp garlic salt or powder)
1 cup baby carrots
3 medium sized potatoes cut into small pieces
¼ cup Ketchup

Place meat in crock pot, add flour, salt, pepper and stir meat until coated well with flour. Add remaining ingredients and stir to mix well in the crock pot.
Cover and cook low 10-12 hours, high 4-6 hours. Stir well before serving - If it is too thick in the pot then add more beef broth to make it thinner.
Serve over egg noodles or with rice as a side dish.

I personally prefer it over egg noodles, but let me know if you try this recipe! Bon Appetit!
